Mona Shourie Kapoor (3 February 1964 – 25 March 2012) was an Indian Television producer, film producer, and entrepreneur. She was the daughter of Sattee Shourie and first wife of Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor and also the mother of actor Arjun Kapoor.
Mona Shourie Kapoor died in 2012 due to multiple organ failure. It has been 10 years since Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor’s mother Mona Shourie Kapoor died.
Like every year, Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor remembered his late mother Mona Shourie Kapoor on her birth anniversary on Friday. He took to social media to share a letter that he wrote to his mother in 1997 which had him requesting her to always keep smiling. Mona Kapoor, the first wife of film producer Boney Kapoor, died of cancer on March 25, 2012.
Along with the letter, Arjun Kapoor also posted two throwback pictures of himself and his mother.
Vidya Balan, Bhumi Pednekar, Gauahar Khan, Rakulpreet Singh, Huma Qureshi and many others showered Arjun with love as he shared the post about his mother.
Arjun Kapoor was last seen in Aasmaan Bharadwaj directorial Kuttey. The film also starred Tabu, Naseeruddin Shah, Konkona Sensharma, Radhika Madan and Kumud Mishra.
