Shahid Kapoor even spoke about different genres that he wishes to explore.
He said,” yes, I want to do something that’s not so serious now. Something a little lighter.”
He shared,” Infact the film that I’m doing right now which has me and Kriti in it, that’s a lighter film.”
He added,” There’re lot of people who reached out to me and said that ‘why aren’t you doing something like Jab We Met’. “
He responded,” I’m like bro Jab We Met happens once in two decades. It’s not like everyday.”
He even added,” Most of the films that you do in that genre are pretty bad, so you want to pick a decent one.”
He revealed,” Infact me and Imtiaz were chatting and I was like find something man and he’s like okay let me think.”
He said,” So I want to do all types of genres. Something fun and exciting as well.”
He continued saying,” As an actor it depends on what comes. So somebody has put something together which is exciting and you go ahead and you collaborate.”
He says,” I think that’s a smarter way of doing it. You can’t just be focusing on what you want to do because something like that might not come along the way.”
He added,” And then you’ll be forcing you into and that’s not required.”
