Rajkumar Rao showed up for an interview promoting his film Bheed.
Speaking about the time period of his movie Rao said,” So, we shot this film during Covid. Everything was very fresh in our minds and we just got out of second wave.”
He said,” which was the most horrible scenario that we all saw and we all witnessed. So it was all very fresh but it happened with us also like all those migrant workers were walking back.”
He added,” We all saw those visuals but we didn’t know what happened to them after that and in our film we talk about that.”
He said,” So I was seeing those things ofcourse they were all actors but they were all real, real people.”
” but just seeing that and imagining something like this must have happened with some of them was gut wrenching.”
He continued,” It’s not easy what they faced but more power to their strength and hats off to their strength that they managed to do what they planned to do “
