Emraan Hashmi and Akshay Kumar are gearing up for the release ‘Selfiee’. The movie is scheduled for release on February 24, 2023. Akshay Kumar and Diana Penty‘s new song ‘Kudi Chamkeeli’ was dropped today on social media.
‘Kudi Chamkeeli’ is a party number from ‘Selfiee’ by Yo Yo Honey Singh that features Akshay and Diana dancing together. A note at the bottom of the song video says that is only part of promotional purposes and ‘will not form part of the film’.
Talking about the film, the movie is the story of a superstar, played by Akshay, who rubs a cop (Emraan) the wrong way over a driving license. Emraan, who used to be a huge fan of the star, raged by his brattiness and decides to seek revenge and get back at him.
Meanwhile, Akshay who is currently out for his film’s promotions in Pune, took to his Twitter handle to share a dance video of himself and his co-star Emraan Hashmi.
In the video, we can see fans gathered in large numbers to catch a glimpse of Akshay and his co-star Emraan Hashmi dancing on the recreated version of ‘Main Khiladi Tu Anari’.
Akshay captioned the video, “It’s the love for you guys, our audience which brings out the best in us. Thank you, Pune for this energetic and wonderful evening”
Selfiee’ is the Hindi remake of the Malayalam hit ‘Driving License’. It starred Prithviraj Sukumaran and Suraj Venjaramoodu. ‘Selfiee’ also stars Nushrratt Bharuccha and Diana Penty.
