OTT clearly has been a game changer in the last few years and more filmmakers are now keen to explore content for it. Sanjay Leela Bhansali is the latest to join the OTT space as the filmmaker who is known for his larger-than-life, picturesque visuals meant for the big screen, also announced his web series ‘Heeramandi’ this morning. Meanwhile, Netflix hosted a networking party this evening which was attended by several industry celebs.
Aamir Khan was one of the early guests to arrive. He was seen making an appearance in a red printed kurta and black pants. He flashed his charming smile as he posed for the paparazzi.
Anil, who is currently enjoying rave reviews for his show, The Night Manager, looked dapper in a light blue suit. Anil Kapoor came in with daughter Rhea Kapoor.
Rhea looked quite stylish as always as she came in a pant suit while Anil looked dapper in a blue blazer with white t-shirt. Aamir opted for a simple kurta with jeans looking quite handsome and ditching his grey hair after a while.
Hansal Mehta also arrived, so did Zoya Akhtar. The latter is also set to have her film released on the same platform this year with ‘The Archies’ which launches Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, Dot, Vedang Raina, Khushi Kapoor and Mihir Ahuja.
Khushi was seen wearing a body-hugging dress while Bhumi made heads turn in a black outfit.
Nitesh Tiwari came with wife and director Ashwini Iyer Tiwari. Producer Dinesh Vijan was also spotted.
Other celebs like Anil Kapoor, Zoya Akhtar, Rhea Kapoor, Konkana Sensharma, Atlee, Nitesh Tiwari, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, Karan Johar, Babil Khan, Hansal Mehta, Shefali Shah, Dinesh Vijan, Aaditi Pohankar, Boney Kapoor, Manisha Koirala and others were also seen gracing the party in style.
Bhansali announced the teaser of ‘Heeramandi’ this after for this streamer. It stars Sonakshi Sinha, Manisha Koirala, Sharmin Sehgal, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chaddha and Sanjeeda Shaikh.
