Nandita Das spoke on Kapil Sharma doing a TV show.
She revealed,” I had seen one of his performances where he’s presenting along with Karan Johar. It’s the first time I had ever seen him.”
She said,” I don’t have TV at my home so I had not seen his show previously. So I didn’t know much about him.”
She added,” Ofcourse I knew that he’s a very popular star and people talk about him. So I used to think that he might be doing some stuff in the TV.”
She quoted,” When I first saw the show, I felt that he’s so natural with his humour and laughter.”
The Zwigato director disclosed,” To watch him a little more I referred to small clips of Instagram.”
She says,” It’s not just about comedy. I didn’t feel that there’s only comedy happening over there but there’s a connect.”
She added,” I felt that he’s no more a common man now yet when he enacts jokes of comman man or their comments, so it literally feels as if he’s a comman man.”
She said,” In a way he’s in that role for real. So I felt instinctively that he’s my Manas for sure.”
