Aditi Rao Hydari has recently in an interview disclosed her bucket lists of characters.
She says,” This (Anarkali) was one but I never thought that it would be attempted and that would ever get a chance to be Maharani Gayatri Devi.”
She said,” There’re so many, lives of actually certain actresses which have been really interesting and very exciting.”
Aditi even spoke on being a Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s movie heroine and the character representation.
She said,” I really think a lot of it stems also from Sanjay Sir and I wouldn’t even say a lot of it but all of it actually stems from Sanjay Sir, his vision and his understanding of women.”
She added,” The layers that he brings into this sort of a girl in that time in the position that she’s in. He doesn’t make her just a cardboard cut out.”
“There’s lot of layers that he delves into may be it’s not spoken off as a dialogue but there’s so much subtext that he gives you when he talks to you as an actor or when he’s talking about the character etcetera.”
She continues,” I think a lot of characters that turn out well, we talk about heroines but heroines are also people. They’re not just pretty cardboard cutouts.”
She affirms,” It’s not only about how they look or whatever. There’s so much heart and soul that goes into creating that character and I think it’s really about director’s who really want to bring them out in their heroine’s and in the women that they write for.”
Aditi Rao Hydari was asked if the reports are true that she’s the next cast of Sanjay Leela Bhansali to which Aditi denied disclosing any news but just said “Not Yet”
