Tamil director Atlee and actress Krishna Priya got married in 2014 after dating for many years.
Atlee, who worked as an assistant director under AR Murugadoss, directed his first film (Rajarani) in his production company. This movie was a blockbuster success.
After that he made the movie ‘Theri’ with Vijay. As this movie also became a super hit, he earned a name as a star director.
After this, he directed the films ‘Mersal’ and ‘Bigil’ with Vijay.
Currently, he is shooting ‘Jawaan’ with Shah Rukh Khan. This movie, which is being shot at a fast pace, will be released on June 2 next year.
His wife Priya also appeared as an actress in many Tamil movies. She has acted in dubbing films like ‘Na Parama Shiva’ and ‘Yamudu’.
In November, they celebrated their 8th wedding anniversary.
