Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2023 turned out to be a glitzy affair as leading celebrities graced the red carpet. From Tejasswi Prakash to Alia Bhatt, tinsel town and telly town stars attended the gala event that was held in Mumbai on Monday (February 20). The likes of Varun Dhawan, Vidya Balan, Harshad Chopda, Rashami Desai, Anupam Kher were also spotted at the awards ceremony, which honoured artists in the entertainment industry.
Tejasswi Prakash’s win made beau Karan Kundrra and his father feel proud of her. Karan shared a cute video of him coming to inform his father about Tejasswi’s win. His father, who was getting a haircut done, was all smiles on hearing Tejasswi’s win in Best Actress category and said, “Wonderful, Teju we are proud of you.” Karan responded, “Me too.”
His father wittily replied, “You less,” and Karan said, “Obviously.” Karan’s father further said, “It is one of the most prestigious awards of the Indian film industry. Bade bade logon ko bhi ye award nahi milti hai. But she is lucky she has got this at this young age. God bless her.”
Karan gave a flying kiss to the camera and said, “God bless you, Teju.”
The Naagin 6 actress wore a gorgeous sheer saree with floral threadwork running through the scalloped border. She let her hair open and wore a big red chunky statement jewellery piece. She won the Best Actress award for Naagin 6.
She shared on her Instagram story, “Thank you for all the love you all have given Naagin 6. Here’s to a lot more in future. Picture abhi baaki hai.”
The awards night also saw Bigg Boss 16’s Abdu Rozik and Shiv Thakare. Anupamaa’s Rupali Ganguly got snapped with her son. Maniesh Paul, Zain Imam and Harshad Chopda also attended.
