Shehzada, the highly anticipated family entertainer that features Kartik Aaryan as the central character, is set to get its grand theatrical release on February 17, Friday. The movie, which is helmed by Rohit Dhawan, marks Kartik’s second onscreen collaboration with the popular actress Kriti Sanon after the success of Lukka Chuppi.
The much-awaited project is an official adaptation of Ala Vaikunthapurramloo, the 2020-released Telugu blockbuster that features Allu Arjun in the lead role. The makers of Shehzada held a grand screening event for the film in Mumbai, on Thursday night.
A special screening of Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon’s upcoming film Shehzada was hosted on Thursday, a day prior to its release. A slew of Bollywood celebrities such as Shahid Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor and more came under the same roof to watch the film.
Kriti Sanon along with her sister Nupur Sanon and their were seen posing for a happy family picture at the screening.
Kartik’s parents were also seen at the venue.
Kriti and Kartik posed for the shutterbugs and they were all smiles. Kartik even walked up to the photographers and posed for some pictures with them.
Shahid Kapoor and wife Mira Rajput were also seen arriving at the venue, followed by Arjun Kapoor and Varun Dhawan and his niece Anjini Dhawan.
Other celebrities such as Mukesh Chhabra, Darshan Kumar, Bhushan Kumar, Ali Asgar with his kids, Ronit Roy and his family members, Manisha Koirala, Rohit Roy, Farah Khan Ali, Chunky Pandey, Sunny Singh, Madhur Bhandarkar, Harman Baweja and Angad Bedi were also seen.
Shehzada is an official Hindi remake of the Telugu film Ala Vaikunthapurramloo which starred actor Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde in the lead role. The film is all set to hit the theatres on February 17.
