Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language romantic comedy film directed by Karan Johar and produced by Dharma Productions. The film stars Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt.
Principal photography commenced in August 2021. The film is scheduled to release on 28 July 2023.
The Ranveer Singh-Alia Bhatt starrer Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani has been in the news ever since it was announced last year. The romantic drama also stars Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi and will mark filmmaker Karan Johar’s return to direction after a long sabbatical. The highly anticipated movie, that was supposed to release in April this year has been pushed to July, as Karan recently posted an update on the same.
Taking to his IG handle, the filmmaker and star casts of the movie shared a motion poster of the movie.
Coming back to the cast of the movie, new mom Alia Bhatt was recently seen at in event with friend and co-star Varun Dhawan, where she opened up on work-life balance.
