During the promotion of Gaslight, Sara revealed her experiences of such people in her life.
She spoke up,” Honestly I don’t know but I think that it’s something that can happen very early especially in my line of work if I can say so.”
She continued,” because you’re surrounded by so many people that the more people that you’re surrounded by even if it’s like anonymously trolls on Instagram”
She said,” The more opinions there are, the higher the scope of being gasoline. So it’s not about whether and the thing about it is that it happens very subtly, you don’t even always understand.”
” I think the only way to overcome it is having a very strong, that’s what I love about Misha.”
Speaking about her character she said,” In the face of adversity that I can’t even understand whether it’s her physical limitations whether it’s living in a house where she can’t trust anybody.”
“Whether it’s not having a parental support that I have. Despite all these things if she can stay strong to get determination, I think it’s very admirable because that’s the only way actually.”
Sara justifies saying,” There’s no safeguard against. It’s not like an antivirus that you can say okay I’ll never get gasolined.”
She says,” It will keep on occurring. You need to have that strength within you.”
