Shalin Bhanot has been one of the strongest contestants of Bigg Boss 16. Despite many ups and downs, he remained steadfast and focused on the game. He laughed, he loved, he cried, got his heart broken, but made it to the top 5.
He was one of the five to have reached the finale besides Shiv Thakare, MC Stan, Archana Gautam and Priyanka Chahar Choudhary. Now, after almost five months, his journey has finally come to an end. He has been eliminated from the show.
Salman Khan took over the Grand Finale stage and announced the first finalist who would be leaving the show despite making it so far. And after a lot of surprise, the name was unveiled. It was none other than Shalin Bhanot.
Bigg Boss asks Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, Shalin Bhanot, Archana Gautam, MC Stan, and Shiv Thakare to discuss and select the fifth contestant who will get eliminated from the house. If their name matches with that of the audiences’ votes, then ₹10 lakh will be added to the existing ₹21 lakh winning amount.
Shalin Bhanot gets eliminated from the show. Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, Archana Gautam, MC Stan, and Shiv Thakare become top four contestants. The prize money bumped to ₹31 lakh.
