Swara Bhasker has took everyone by surprise as she announced marriage with political activist Fahad Ahmad. The actress dropped a video which shows the couple’s love story, how they met and also their marriage certificate. Swara and Fahad held an engagement lunch for their close ones and the media as they posed for the paparazzi for the first time as husband and wife. They also released their first pictures as a couple.
Sonam Kapoor attended the lunch in the city and looked gorgeous in a white kurta with a banarasi maroon dupatta with hair open.
Divya Dutta also arrived to wish the couple.
Their love story started when Fahad invited her for her sister’s wedding which she initially declined due to work commitments. But destiny certainly had other plans. Swara Bhasker and Fahad Ahmad’s spokesperson has confirmed that the couple has registered their marriage today in an intimate ceremony with close friends and family. The wedding celebrations will commence next month in Delhi.
Swara shared an adorable video that showed their love-filled journey together. Along with the video, she wrote, “Sometimes you search far & wide for something that was right next to you all along. We were looking for love, but we found friendship first. And then we found each other! Welcome to my heart @FahadZirarAhmad It’s chaotic but it’s yours!”.
No sooner did she share the news that actor Sayani Gupta commented, “Oh wow! Yayyyy! This is just wishing you both the world full of happiness, peace, laughter and only good times! Actor Shruti Seth called them ‘didi and jejuuuu’ in the comment section as well.
