And the latest we are hearing is that Tabu’s nephew Fateh Randhawa could get a debut with a Dharma Productions film. However, there is no confirmation from either side but this news has become the talk of the town. Reports also say that the role of Kartik Aaryan, who opted out of Dostana 2, could now go to Fateh Randhawa.
Karan Johar’s long-awaited ‘Dostana 2’ may soon be back on track with a young new talent joining the cast.
The film that was put on hold after Kartik Aaryan’s sudden exit, is rumoured to be heading back on floors, with another fresh face filling the actor’s place.
Rumours doing the rounds indicate that Tabu’s nephew, Fateh Randhawa is likely to join Janhvi Kapoor and Laksh Lalwani.
This is not the first time that Fateh has been rumoured to be among the top pics for the project. A few years ago, he was rumoured to make his film debut in ‘Dostana 2’, but, at the time there was no confirmation from either side.
Kartik’s exit from the film was because of an alleged fallout between the actor and KJo. However, both stars refused to offer any clarification.
The sequel of ‘Dostana 2’ was being helmed by Colin D’Cunha until it was abruptly shelved. The film is a sequel to the rom-com that starred John Abraham, Abhishek Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra.
